1. British Council | Learn English Teens
Age: 9+
On this page, you can practice speaking skills for your school studies, exams, and for real life. There are videos and activities organized for different levels, from CEFR level A1 to CEFR level B2. Each activity has its instructions, then a video where you can practice speaking, and below are some exercises. Exercises are done to check comprehension, for example, true or false activity, rearrange sentences, and fill in the blank. Topics include various, for example, conversations in shopping malls, between friends, school, meeting people, and many more!

2.  Cambridge Assessment English
Level: A1 - C1.
All ages.
On this page, Cambridge Assessment has several activities that focus on various topics that contain audio and then ask students to speak and practice their pronunciation. For example, activities such as distinguishing the pronunciation of certain vowels, and learning about exclamations. Each activity details what level each one focuses on and the time it would take to solve it. All activities have audio followed by questions such as matching or multiple choice.


3. English Central
Age: 10+
English Central has several videos that are hosted on YouTube in which students can listen to and read the subtitles, paying special attention to certain words or phrases. The next activity has to do with learning words, that is, selecting the meaning of certain words. Then they must pronounce some words, here they have to record their voice. The difficulty is described in each of the videos. In some videos they have practices such as vocabulary and common expressions, always focused on speaking.

Age: 9+
This page offers speaking practice to learn useful phrases that will help you to speak English clearly and effectively. Students can improve their speaking skill by noticing the language we use in different situations. There are videos of different conversations at work and interactive exercises that practice speaking skills to communicate in English. In each activity there are videos that help students practice language, and there are also three tasks that will help them remember and use sentences. Exercises are basically about completing sentences and choosing the correct answer.


5. Rachel’s English
Level: A1 - B2.   
Age: 15+
Rachel’s English is a website that offers more than 400 free videos that teach non-native speakers to speak English. The videos focus on a variety of topics, for example, greetings, idioms, sports, conversations with friends, and much more! These videos are very explanatory in which the correct position of the mouth, intonation, rhythm, stress, the pronunciation of specific phrases, and words are addressed. With this website, students will be able to practice their pronunciation and also develop their listening skills.

    I want to thank you all for posting this content as it is useful for english language learners. I find it very well organized and the descriptions are according to what the websites offer. I think the Cambridge Assessment English website is an effective option for me as it has several interactive audio and pronunciation activities.

  2. Dear fellows, as you know practicing the English language is very important. Even more when you cannot attend to classes to practice this productive skill. On your blog you have posted 5 websites for the purpose of practicing the speaking skill. Despite the fact that all of them are useful webpages, I would like to say that English Central is my favorite web tool for practicing the speaking skill. I love the interface that it has. As it uses videos to practice this skill, it is very funny to visit this website, and you will not get bored. You just need to sign up, and that´s all you are ready to enhance or improve your speaking skill, of course regarding your English level.
